Piccalilli-making Cookery Courses will commence in the Quirky Cook Kitchen as from April 2020.
Join Kay Hawkins, artisan food producer and founder of the Quirky Cook, for our introductory course on Saturday 4th April 2020.
Kay has been making Piccalilli since 2008 and over the years, it has achieved Great Taste awards from the Guild of Fine Food and a glowing testimonial from Michelin-star chef Marco Pierre-White himself.
These courses will be limited to 4 places, as you will work alongside Kay in the Quirky Cook Kitchen at Sandiacre, preparing an assortment of fresh garden vegetables and a tangy mustard sauce that makes this classic relish so deliciously addictive. At the end of the day, you will take your jars of handmade Piccalilli away with you, together with a detailed recipe sheet for future use.
No prior knowledge of preserve-making is required - just an enthusiasm to transform natural ingredients into something very special.
